Glen Taylor is supporting Kids-Can Charitable Trust, helping them by raising money and as part of my participation in School Fun Run New Zealand 2019. Each room in Glen Taylor has to try and raise about $400 each and today some people have made their accounts. Also

Science Exhibition!

Today after morning tea, the classes were getting ready for the science exhibition, all the classes were going to move around each class. We all did it to show what science is and what we have been learning previously. The order we went: Our class then room 10, 11, 12, 13, 4, 1, 2, 6, 5, 7 & 8! My favorite part in all is: a board game in room 10, it was about liquid, gas & solid. Sadly, no one took a photo of it, I think so these are some other pictures from other classes.

Our Science Board

This term & last term was about science, previously we made a cow - a really big one and we got into groups of 4 and put what we learned on our science board. The people in my group are: Catherine, Sar Yar Chan & Carlosi and of course, me!

Matariki

Matariki is celebrates education, remembrance and the planting of new trees and crops signaling new beginnings. Matariki was the optimum time for new harvests, and ceremonial offerings to the land-based gods Rongo, Uenuku and Whiro to ensure good crops for the coming year. The time Matariki was celebrated this year was on the 25th June.
