Hello everyone! I’m just going to write riddles. Can you guess them?

I make two people out of one, who am I?

How can you make seven even?

How many seconds are there in a year?

What are moving left to right, right now?

What has no body and no nose?

A man in a car saw a gold door, silver door & a bronze door. What door did he open first?

What is the longest word in a dictionary?

The more there is the less you see. What is it?

What is the end of everything?

What is bigger than a grey elephant but weighs yet nothing?

A boy fell off a 100 foot ladder but he didn’t get hurt? How is that possible?

When it’s alive we sing, when it’s dead we clap. What is it?

I start with an e, I end with e. I contain one letter. But I’m not the letter e. What am I?

20 people jump in a pool filled with water and nothing else. After 24 head came back up. How?

What is full all day but empty at night?

What never uses its teeth for eating?

When is a clock dangerous?

Can you guess them all? List them!

Duffy Books

Today our school got to meet Daz from Flava. He told us why reading is good and about his job, which is working at Flava. You may know what it is or not, it is a radio and they talk about random stuff. Daz is 34 and his hobbies other from reading is playing video games like, fortnite or minecraft for example. He also works with his best friend, Ast. Sadly, he did not come but I don’t know why. After lunch, Mrs Faalili, our teacher said we are going to get our Duffy books. Some people didn’t like their books and some people loved it. Mrs Faalili said not to put the Duffy sticker on immediately because you might want to trade with others. I got a “What monster” Tom Gates book and Captain underpants and the attack of the talking toilets, I didn’t really that book that much. My friend, Catherine, got one same book as me it was the Tom gates book. The other book she got was the very brave bear. Always read!

Goal For The Week

Our teacher, Mrs Faalili thought we should set our goals and try to achieve at least to Friday. We are doing it because our current week value is Integrity & Respect. We started this on Monday, except that I'm posting it today. Sadly, I can't put the class goals so I'll write mostly typed down.

Showing integrity by picking up rubbish when its not yours = Pick it up whenever you pass rubbish.

Help other people with what they are struggling with = To ask them if they need help.

My one was to blog about my learning and how I can do it is at least doing one post a day for the week.

Skateland

Yesterday, I went to skate land with my cousins and my family. The entry cost $12.00. There were two types of skates. Roller skates: It was the skates that had wheels on the outside and one in front. In-line skates : four wheels straight underneath. I wore the roller skates first, I went around slowly around the rink, taking my time. I got the hang of it but it was hard to push so I changed my shoes in the in-line skates. There was racing for all ages and activities. I fell down a lot too. We probably stayed for an hour then we went back. I'd probably go back!

Dream Pond

There was a pond not just any type of pond a special pond. No one knows where it is, or knows what it was called. Except for one person, a young girl, named Isabella who loved adventure! So it all began when she was on a school trip, a camping trip just for a day and back. Do you want to know how she found the pond? Well here’s why! She left her camp tent, leaving her friends. So there she was adventuring outside but then…. she tripped over something, but what?

She had found out she had got knocked by something. Critters were  chittering, chattering, above her while she was unconscious…

When she woke up, she was in a pond. “ Ughh, where am I? Now i'm officially soaked, she sulks. She exits and turns magically dry. “ What!? “. The critters come to the rescue surrounding Isabella. Another thing you have to know about her is that she loves animals, any type! Literally like cats, dogs, even odd creatures, dragons, unicorns. “ Hello there!”, in a pitch voice a chipmunk says. “ Aaah!”, screams Isabella, “ How can you talk!?”

“Well, you have been woken up in a pond right?“. “ Uhm, yes? What does that have to do with this?” “In our land, the legend is the person who comes out dry is our leader”. “ Wait, you’ve gotta be kidding me…”
“ Nope, you are our leader now!”. “ Really?” “Yes!” “ Ugrhhh, i feel dizzy”.

“ Huh, what happened?” “ Huh, must just been a dream...” Or has it?...

Thank you for reading this blog post! There is a picture but it is currently at school. I'm not sure if I can post it.

Puzzles

Hi everyone reading this blog post! Yesterday, I did puzzles with my sister and dad. It was a transformer puzzle, jungle book puzzle. Last but not least a spider man puzzle...

Sadly, we did not finish the spider-man puzzle. It was really complicated. Really complicated. Some puzzles were in the wrong place and some were missing but that was yesterday.

Here some photos!

Hard Luck Pt4

Hmm, maybe, I could just stop for a minute…
I hop right off the floor and go outside. I see a hotdog stand! Perfect! I go there and order a hotdog. I checked the price…..
I don’t have enough I just noticed. “ Uhm “, I said nervously. “ Hurry up and pay “, says the the hotdog owner. I see how much I have. I gave him all my money. “ Not enough “ says annoyed. He leaves. [ Sigh ]  I should go back to my station.
[ Slip ]  “ Wow, just great”. I slipped on a banana peel. I crashed into the hotdog cart as well. “ Urgh “. I lift myself up.

I go straight back to the factory. I hope nothing bad happens….

Cross Country!

Tired, exhausted. Yesterday, our school, Glen Taylor, had cross country. We planned to start at 11:00 am but we started at 9:00 am. Do you want to know why? Because it was about to rain at that point of time. It said it would rain for a few more days. That's just a bit weird. At 9:00 am, all the students went to their house groups. Maungarei, Taurere, Te Wai o Taiki and last but not least Kaiahiku - ( Red, Green, Blue, Yellow )

We went by youngest syndicate to eldest:
Year 0: Around the field once
Year 1: Around the field then to the (basketball & Netball) court then back
Year 2,3 & 4: Around the field once after that, one lap around our whole school
Year 5 & 6: Around the field 1 when finished, two laps around our whole school
Year 7 & 8: Around the field once when done, three laps around our whole school

We all had to go to the table when we were finished to see what place we came plus we had to go half of the field. It was raining when most of us was running. When we got through the entrance then we got water-gunned by teachers and a student. When we finished the lap we got the dot and still got water-gunned. Everyone probably did not like it in their face especially.

After, when everyone came, everyone looked like they never wanted to do it again but we do it every year. We  also went inside our school hall then started to do Zumba until the bell rang for morning tea.

At slightly before home time, we found out who came 1st, 2nd, 3rd in the syndicates. Also the house points. The first house was a tie, Maungarei/Red & Te Wai o Taiki/Blue.

Cross country was fun but tiring. I hope you enjoy this blog post and the pictures!

Hard Luck Pt3

I had the most dirtiest station on land! If there was dirt factory, mine would still dirtier than the most dirtiest there!
I can’t believe i’m still here! Well, not really. I’ve been fired tones of times, except that my friend Hayley keeps making excuses for me. She’s the boss’s auntie’s sister’s grandparent’s niece’s cousin’s friend. She doesn’t work in a dirty sew machine though, she lives in a clean electric sewing machine.
Life is really hard for me - I have to even my own equipment! I hold a piece of fabric and start sewing, with my hands - I don’t have the normal ones. But the fun is that I get to try the old fashion way to sew. So there I am sewing, endlessly.

I see everyone enjoying themselves. But what about me? Plus they are not even sewing properly, like me, like the olden days.
