The Egyptian “ Queen “
Do you want to know how Ella got her powers? Well this is how….
It all began when 6 year old Ella & her family went to Egypt to see
the pyramids…They flew from Los Angeles to Egypt then went on a bus
to the pyramids. When they exited the bus door and their shoes touched
the dusty sand. A wonderful view of pyramids they saw. Little Ella trailed
away from the group wandering off. A few meters away was her family
not knowing that Ella had gone…
Ella found a huge, tall thing, it was a Egyptian sphinx with an open door.
She walked inside the hole, now some kids would be scared but Ella was
very brave & curious. Inside was just plain sand on the ground,
weird drawings and everything looked like it was 1000 years old.
She saw one design that was very interesting like it was calling her to
come closer. She tapped the picture, it slowly moved back.
She trembled moving back steadily then she tripped on a rock and
fainted.
When she woke up there was no sphinx, there was just sand,
did she just fall asleep on the sand? No way she did, it was still midday,
why would she just sleep on the sand for? Ella heard a beat of wings
behind her, what could it be?
She was frozen solid for a while she rotated around unhurriedly,
it was a sphinx! “ You have freed my from my curse,
now I must give you something in return “ says the sphinx.
Ella stood there and listened. The sphinx had given her a
crook & a flail in return. Ella thanked the sphinx then the sphinx
soared through the air. She wondered what the crook & flail does…
She imagined that it would give her flying power. She held it and
turned them both diagonally, a brightness of light shot up in the air.
She floated up into the sky, she gasped. She flew back behind the bus,
landing down, she went into the bus storing it into her suitcase.
That is how she got her powers!
Extra:
Her sister caught a glimpse of her exiting the bus, she said
” Have you been in the bus all day?” “ Uhm, yes --“, Ella says.
“ Aww, that’s bad, it was really fun on the tour “. Emily started whispering
`` I-i ‘’accidentally’’ `` touched an artifact that had a bad curse,
but you don’t think I'll get cursed? Right?”“ Okay...“, Ella nods.
